JollyVoxBox! Influentser box product review

A little while ago I received another box from Influenster. This one was smaller then the others but it packed it's own punch.

One thing I really love about the VoxBoxs is that no two are exactly alike. They always have products I love and so far haven't had anything I hate! I love trying new things so these boxes make my day when I arrive.

Here's what the #JollyVoxBox contained:

- Puff's plus to go tissue pack Vaule: $0.49
This time of year who can't use these? I sure can. With two kids these came in handy right away.I just threw them in my purse so I had them when I needed them.

-NYC New York Color HD Color Trio Eye Shadow Value $2.99
I recieved the Long Beach Sands color trio. These were pefect for a  pretty but natural looking light smokey for the holidays.

-Rimmel London NEW Show Off Lip Lacquer Value $5.49-$5.99
This Lip Lacquer is pretty cool. It's available in 14 shades. I was given the color Stargazer, It's a peachy gold color. I love the shine of this lip lacquer. It's very pretty and this color is more subtle then some of the bolder colors they offer.

-Skinny Cow Candy Value $3.99 for a box
Skinny Cow Candy is extremely chocolatey. I was given the Peanut Butter Creme filled chocolate. For me it was to chocolatey but my kiddos both loved it.

-Duckling's Mini Roll Value $2.00-$3.00
These tiny duck tape rolls are adorable! They can be used for practically anything. I used them to jazz up the wrapping on a birthday gift. They could be used any where you use tape or for crafting.

I am so glad I received all these neat products complimentary from Influenster.

Kiss Gradation Polishes... Fun and Sassy

In my #RoseVoxBox from @Influenster I  received this sassy set of polishes.

I love the look of these and have already bought the pink set to add to my collection.

Check out how cute my nails are!! They are easy to apply and the only challenge is waiting for them to dry!

Here is me showing off the colors... I don't know how to edit videos yet... A task to work on... :)

Dr. Scholl's® For Her Cozy Cushions

I recently got  the #ROSEVOXBOX from Influenster. Among my wonderful goodies was a pair of these!
I have been using Dr. Scholl's for her gel inserts for about a year now.  I love them.  So when I got this I was very excited.
It's has been in the 40's here and we had snow recently so I have already been wearing my winter boots. I was very excited to put this in my boots!

It's so easy, trim to fit, place inside and enjoy! PLUS these are a great stocking stuffer!

See?

Pond's BB cream

Good Morning everyone,

I was sent a sample of Pond's  BB in and Infulentser #MamaVoxBox. I had never used a BB cream before and was very worried about a few things.

1. Was it going to make my skin break out?
2. Was it going to feel oily?
3. Would it have good coverage?

Well so far I have used it 5-6 days a week and I am not having more breakouts. I only get break outs once in a while, but since I have been using this I haven't had any.

Does it make my skin feel oily... In short not really. In long it does have a different feel but it's more of a dewy feel not oily. I do put a little bit of sheer powder over the top when it's really humid outside.

As far as the coverage.... I was very pleasantly surprised but how well this covers my redness and splotchy skin. I don't wear foundation most days because the coverage on this is so clean. I actually used this to even out my skin tone for my halloween makeup the other day. It worked wonderfully, but I used a concealer brush to get maximum coverage when on a daily basis I just use clean fingers.

The only thing that I don't LOVE about Pond BB cream is the scent... I really like my makeup to have no scent.

All in all I really enjoy this product! It's one I will be buying!

Juicing....I'm doing it, are you?

So this last week I spoke with a very good friend of mine, she happens to be an amazing photographer who I have modeled for in the past. She has recently started juicing to help get back in shape. In talking with her I told her how I really don't feel myself these day. I feel slow and tired and gross.

I was weighing at 125-128lbs. I am only 5'5 and until I was 20 never weighed more then 100lbs... so right now I feel like I am walking around in someone's body but not my own. It's the little things, for the 1st time in my life my thighs touch, I have a bit of fat that hangs over my jeans, and my watch won't fit around my wrist.

I am not doing this with the goal of losing a ton of weight, I am doing this with the goal of losing weight and putting on muscle.  My primary goal... to greatly cut back on drinking soda, and eating junk food.  I won't eliminate it all because I know I won't be successful if I can't have a treat now and again.  Also this plays a bigger part in setting a good example for my two sons and gets me in the right shape for having another baby if we so choose. (Not that we plan on that right now, but I refuse to have a baby when I don't FEEL healthy.)

These two are a huge part of my inspiration.
I will be exercising daily, Dvds while the baby is napping, walking the 6 yr old to and fro the bus each day and hopefully hitting the little gym we have here. It's big plans and it won't be easy but I am doing it for me.

For me I will be replacing breakfast and lunch with juicing.

Wittle bee, Wittle waste!

After serveal boxes from wittlebee I noticed a reoccurring issue.

PROBLEMS

We got several items in wrong sizes, MANY damaged items. The charged my account when I didn't recieve a box for 3 months! I had to dispute charges with my credit card company because Wittleebee just kept saying oh we are out of stock... Well don't charge my card until you ship then.

I never received replacement I was just told they no longer provide replacements... They did credit me back one months charge even though

There was a lot more drama that I won't get into but their business was getting very shady to me. They cancel one of my accounts saying they only allow one account per household, but did not accomadate for more then one child, also they continued to have NEW customer sales when my moths boxes had not even been sent out.

That really made me upset. I called and the phone number didn't get through to anyone, then I emailed and got no response, So I posted on their facebook page and it was immediately deleted.

I will not do business with this company again. The CEO Sean Percival was previously the VP of myspace, also he and his wife Laurie used to run lalawag a blog about technology. Sean included a cell phone number to text in the boxes, I texted this number a few times never received any response.

I hope that others of you have had good service but unless this company is bought out and fixed, I will not be spending my time or money on them anymore, I can get better deals hunting the internet on my own. I fail to understand how company that got 2.5 million in funding can't keep enough stock to send out to their oldest customers. OH and I won't even get into the lies and price changes...

Julep box review

I order a julep box for 1 cent and got it in the mail. I love how prompt they were in sending it out. It took almost no time at all. It came neatly wrapped and undamaged, So I was pretty happy. The colors are very in for summer time.

I had to wait to try them out as our house is on the market right now. I got 3 colors, a melon color, a yellow and a purple. I tried out the melon color. The 1st thing I noticed right off is how THICK and gooey it was very hard to get a thin coat. I did need two coats since it didn't apply nicely, it was clumpy and took FOREVER to dry.

I painted my toes and my fingers and I disliked how thick it was so much that I went straight to my phone to cancel my subscription.

NOW I am super picky about my nail polish I like it to be on the thinner side so I have more control of color. But some people might not mind at all. I will say after doing the dishes, bathing, cooking, giving both of my boys baths, typing on and off all day, and I don't have a single chip. So they are doing something right! :)

A week later I opened the yellow and guess what? It wasn't thick at all , I must have just had a messed up bottle. I should have added a little polish remover to thin it out!

Over all I was pretty pleased with my penny spent. But since I am so picky I opted to cancel my account. Which I sat on hold for 7 mins waiting to speak to someone only to be pushed to a machine that told me to leave my info and they would cancel for me. Shortly there after I received an email telling me my account was canceled.
